BACK ZONE:
The back cushion of the Recliner Air is constructed of durable Fluidized Gel enveloped between supple layers of Certipur™ certified foam for superior comfort, pain relief and skin protection.
SEATING SURFACE
For maximum treatment and prevention of pressure sores in the buttocks and IT area, the Seat Section features an Alternating Pressure Cushion with a portable AC/DC pump with adjustable comfort control and time settings.
HEEL SECTION
A foam Heel Wedge section features CertiPur™ Certified Heel Wrap foam and offers protection against heel ulcers.
The Alternating pressure seat features 3" bladders that gently alternate to redistribute pressure in addition to comfortably supporting the patient. The Recliner Air Skin Protection Recliner Cushion includes a portable AC/DC alternating pump. The adjustable pump features 3 cycle time settings, 10, 15 or 20 minutes and adjustable comfort settings for individualized comfort. The portable AC/DC pump can be plugged into any standard electrical outlet or powered by the internal battery allowing for total mobility. The internal rechargeable battery keeps this system working without electric up to 10 hours per charge. The portability of the Recliner Air makes it perfect for use at home as well as at dialysis treatments to relieve the discomfort of long periods of sitting. The pump comes with a protective carry case and straps.
The Recliner Air is covered in a blue Vyvex-III™, a low shear, zippered multi-stretch, moisture / vapor permeable top cover, non-skid bottom. An adjustable safety strap secures the overlay to the recliner for added safety. The cover material is anti-microbial, fire-retardant and is easy to clean with a simple 8 parts water to 1 part bleach solution. The cover meets stringent California Technical Bulletin #117 for fire retardancy.
The Recliner Air overlay supports up to 250 lbs. however, bariatric and custom sizes are available.
